Sorry if so.

We did have a good time and your girls are so good with mine; it's a pleasure to spend time with them (and you and M of course!).

TiaTiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11360092874754466982noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2411253170651203836.post-64324203280262228962008-01-03T13:50:00.000+00:002008-01-03T13:50:00.000+00:00Ah yes the children *think* we went to Bude for fu...Ah yes the children *think* we went to Bude for fun... truth is we went *in search of cake* .. birthday cake to be precise .We went to Holsworthy ... just the day before (no cake) we trundled through supermarket in search of cake, candles and sellotape to wrap said teenagers gifts ( organised as always! Why couldn’t she be born in June when there is much less to think about ) ..the place with the annoying trolleys was our final chance for cake on new years eve, and we ended up with a tower of cupcakes made mostly from food colouring and E numbers! And they were of course tasteless!! They also had candles in stock YIPEEE! My card was refused too !!!!! grump . luckily I had another.
It was windy and chilly, you were wise to stay in the car , we are not so wise! brrrr .
The day before, we tracked down some wrapping paper and headed back to the cottages only to realise that I had forgotten sellotape ( again) and had clearly been distracted by lots of chocolate / cheese and other things to fatten myself up with. I also found the candles I had (unknowingly) brought with me.Will save those for next year perhaps.
All was OK though! one of our friends *popped* back to town and picked up some sellotape for us. My husband then popped back to town to fish her out of the ditch she had decided to explore in her van.
Is it any wonder the *almost* teenagers can’t drag themselves out of bed in the morning to spend the day with their mother and her anarchic friends??? We didn’t intend to desert you but by the time they had surfaced you had gone and by the time we had decided where we were going you were already there . Given how organised we are I bet your really glad you missed us!
We did have a lovely time honestly.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2411253170651203836.post-13225503617213907002008-01-03T10:04:00.000+00:002008-01-03T10:04:00.000+00:00Glad it was a fairly calm few days. But, it does come in a gel and liquid. I got the neuro to prescribe the liquid to put in the J tube for the Princess instead of the diastat. We could have used it at the Candle light service Christmas Eve. First the princess started seizing and wouldn't stop and then Elf had a seizure but stopped. The neuro said no more candle light services for them. Bummer ! I had thought I'd have a nice time of worship. HA. Kids You got to love them.
VirginiaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2411253170651203836.post-89546580109326414982008-01-02T22:33:00.000+00:002008-01-02T22:33:00.000+00:00We lived in Cornwall for a few years and never man...We lived in Cornwall for a few years and never managed to park in Bude either...arrided in Padstow only to discover I had let my handbag in the caf on route and the only time we stopped on Launceston the hole in the wall ate my card!
