Ain't no coffee strong enough

Got home yesterday and found a card from a friend in the post. "Where there's cake there's hope." But what when there's no cake and no energy to bake it?

I am tired. Very, very, takes-me-five-minutes-to-think-about-standing-up-for-long-enough-to-put-the-kettle-on-and-five-hours-to-reach-across-to-switch-on-the-computer tired. Six loads of washing have been processed through the machine. Four of these are currently outside, along with two almost dry tents. Another five loads of washing are waiting lined up by the washing machine. And I have just noticed that it is raining. Make that another four loads of rewashing, plus two very wet tents, please.

I am not doing another Guide Camp without help.

  3. then get help! Is there anyone you could ask - it sounds like you enjoy guide camp so it would be a shame to not be able to go.

In the meantime, put your feet up - the wet smelly washing won't get (much) wetter and smellier in the next 24 hours!

If you have trouble posting your comment please try sending it again - for some reason it seems to take 2 to 3 attempts sometimes. Sorry - I don't know why that is!

If you are commenting on something to do with one of my fostered children, please respect confidentiality and don't post details I haven't already mentioned on the blog. Thanks
