More on Mog

This was the straightest we could get Mog this morning, after her regular morning meds, which include a couple of muscle relaxants. And this was the straightest we could get her after two of us had given up trying to wrestle her into her chair and had given her a goodly slug of diazepam.
But this was Mog this afternoon, when she had managed to kick our visiting toddler on both of his ears simultaneously!
That's my monstrous Mog!

:D to Mog! I'm so glad that she's feeling better!

PS Mog makes me wish I'd been a little more sensible with my new cushion colour choices...starting to think that purple top might not have been the best choice.

Mog's covers are deeply boring, but at least she then has the option of wearing clothing in just about any colour she likes.

That said, we chose them just before school informed us uniform was going to be compulsory. If I'd known she'd be stuck wearing the same jumper 5 days a week for the next 10 years we might have chosen something a bit bolder...

Purple - is that a FoamKarve colour or something else?

Glad to see she was feeling better by afternoon!

I don't know - purple was in the swatches that I was shown to choose from, but they were debating over whether to use Foamkarve or to do it in house I think (I'm guessing same centre, different therapists)...that said, I was not very keen on changing to a more controlling cushion, and it was in the snow so a lot of people had not got in (so more time). I can tell you when I get it in Feb if I remember (just about to go and stay with neurosurg for a week to see if they can sort me out :/ ).

I hope the only excitement in your stay is positive, and that the rest of the time is merely boring rather than unpleasant.

Do love the carved seating for Mog - having problems getting her into it at the moment with her spasm and changing shape, but once she is in and in the right position it contains her spasm like nothing else ever has. And she has in the past warped the frame of other wheelchairs!

Way to go Mog - good to see you are on the mend.

Just wanted to say that I posted on your new oven post a few weeks ago - and how jealous I was then.. Ours packed up last week, and our landlords have replaced today. Huzzah! Sniny new oven just like yours :D

Now I just have to keep on top of keeping it clean....

Emma,

Good luck with that! I find not using it and living off takeaway curry helps a lot.
