Do you promise?

Little Fish is into promises at the moment.

"Do you promise to pick me up from school, Mumma?"

"Do you promise you love me, Mummy?"

"Do you promise I will wake up in the morning?"

I don't like that last question...

So we had a talk about how God is looking after her and watching over her all night long, and that He will keep her safe. And she decided "I like God and Grandad, goodnight, Mummy."

And now she's all tucked up and asleep, and I'm all awake and worried that she might not wake up in the morning.

  1. URGH, Sorry i dont suppose my conversation helped that one much.
I remember David and I arguing over who would go in to Rosie;s room on the odd occasions she slept through when she was younger.

    Hugs

  4. aoh dear! That is hard for a mum. It is always one of my worries esp after finding Josh asleep forever.
We are fortunate that we are believers and God indeed is taking care of her.
I think you gave her the comfort she was looking for with your answers and prayers. Such a good mum! (((hugs)))
