Mog's Mark of Mystery

The spots are from her CPAP. But the flush is purely random. Always that side of her face, always the same jagged edge at the bottom. It's not sun, not heat, not pressure. Any ideas?

  1. Is it on both sides of her face? if so it may be slapped cheek syndrome which is a virus commonly seen in children.

  2. Nope, just one side, and not anywhere else. She's always done it; it just suddenly flushes up like this and stays there for a few hours. Weird.

  3. It might just be a very faint birth mark, some people have ones that only show up when they are flushed, or blush, are hot etc.

  4. Could be allergy to pillow or detergent pillow case is washed in if that's the side that touches bed.. If this is the side she gets more cuddles on it could be a perfume or body cream allergy e.g frut acids. If this is the side that gets the sun from the bus window on the way home or in the house it could be a sun sensitivity (most UVA gets throgh glass). I'm out of ideas now. Does it respond to cooling or hydrocortisone cream?
