My Funny Valentine

A small child in a bathtub, washing herself. A song bubbling from her lips, a sweet, sweet sound, the tune "Skip to my Lou", the words her own inventions.

"Washing my legs scrubadub scrub
Wash my feet rub an scrub
Wash my bottom, squeeze a little poo...."

My charming child.

And then it is time to get out of the bath, and as I gently dry between her toes, she leans forwards and says "Mummy I love you." And as I melt into a puddle of mothergoo, she continues "Mummy, I love you SO much, so much I squeeze bubbles from my bottom just for you".

Love you too, kid! Is that my best valentine ever or what?
