Had they removed her switch?! Outrageous if so.

LOVE giggly Mog. I laugh a bit like that only with more squeaking and less snurfling.

How are you getting on with the auditory scanning, Mog? Do you like it? Do you think it has changed what you do at school? Maybe one day you can learn how to use your switch on a computer and write blogs yourself! I do mine with two switches and help from my PA whose job it is to support me.

PS to Tia, if not already school should now be working on the beginning of spelling and sounding out words with her - for instance so she can say she wants to go and visit her friend whose name starts with an Eee sound or whatever. It's one way to break through the limitations of auditory scanning to access words not in the scanning vocabulary.

No no the switch was still there, it was the 4 inch gap behind the knees which isn't great. She's getting far too good at wriggling out from under her lap strap.

Auditory scanning file - she seems to be going on strike at home with that, I don't know how she's getting along with it at school.

Initial sounds is a good idea; I'll pass it on, thank you.

Mog is so beautiful and cheeky. I am shocked at how much she has grown up.
